Oyamma no1 sanke
This koi is a favourite of mine from our last two trips, in the autumn we left this koi pic left hand side as it was very expensive and the breeders best sanke ('Kashira') Peter our customer loved the fish straight away. However on returning last week to Oyamma koi farm Peter asked to bowl a sanke in the pond it was then I said to him that's the sanke from the Autumn. The beni on this fish is exceptional and its Sadozo sumi is developing perfectly. The placement of sumi is also perfect in between the balanced yondan (four step) beni pattern.
A discussion took place on the price, and due to our business relationship a good discount was given. And the koi was sold, she will be handled by Oyamma this summer in his mud pond until she is sansai.
unusual type pattern kohaku
With people demanding more of the unusual patterned koi especially Kohaku, On our trip last week it was at the top of Peter's list to find a flowery/ unusual pattern. What I like about this koi to is the Kiwa and its skin quality, cant wait to raise this koi to 35cm and see how the pattern looks.

Tosai updates
Having just returned from Japan, having selected more Taniguchi Tosai. I would like to share some development photo's of some customers koi. The koi have been in the country only 8-9 weeks, we have a very good ability to raise Tosai and the results speak for themselves. The quality is really very high, as selecting tosai that were this small can be very hard.
On 10 th December these koi measured approximately 14cm and today measure 27cm just two months on from being shipped to the UK
